Ng Lee Keng

Our next contestant is............... (drum roll) – Ms Ng Lee Keng. Lee Keng is from MSIG Bancassurance department and she will be participating in the 10km race. Her vision is “To retire from the corporate world at the age of 50”.

Q : Have you joined any kind of Marathon before?

No this is my 1st marathon. I participated in the SCB KL Marathon 2009 to challenge myself – to see if I'm able to run within the specified time. (laughing)

Q : Would you train for the Marathon?

Yes but I have not started the training.

Q : You have less than 3 months - any plans on when do you intend to start the training?

I will begin my training as and when I am free, no specific start date.

Q : Sometimes it is easier to train in pair or group. Do you plan to train with the rest of the 13 MSIG staff?

It would be great if can train in a group.

Q : Where would you train?

Most probably around my housing area.

Q : How much time would you allocate for your training and how would you organize your time between training, work and personal life?

Well, training/jogging/exercise shouldn't be just for the marathon competition. One should always exercise i.e. jog as it helps in personal health. . To me, exercising shouldn’t just be done for the sake of marathon or any other competitions. It should be done regularly and it makes up part of my personal life. (looking serious)

Q : What is your target / objective for this marathon?

I would try my best to complete the marathon as this is my first time participating (laughing)

Q : Do you have anything to say to your competitors?

We will do our best together. (giggles)
